Study Abroad
Málaga, España
Starting from september 2023 until febuary 2024 I am doing my minor in Spain. In am doing my erasmus study abroad in Málaga, in the south of Spain. Here I study at the University of Málaga. Time flies, and in the weekends I do a lot of cool activities and trips. I've met a lot of new people, and already went to Marokko, Gibraltar, Nerja, surfing in Cádiz, Córdoba and more to come...
Why Málaga? I really wanted to go abroad during my study, since the first year I knew this. Choosing the destionation was not that diffuctult. The only option in Spain was Málaga, and I knew that I wanted to go to Spain. Since I am young I go to Spain every year. My mother was born there (she is Dutch) and I have family living there. I really like the culture, food, wheather and language. And I also wanted to improve my Spanish.

Universidad de Málaga
I am studying at the University of Málaga. There are two faculties where I have my subjects. The first one is: La Facultad de Bellas Artes (Faculty of Fine Arts) The subjects that I have here are: Drawing & designing, Photography & Audiovisual and Engraving & Stamping. These subjects are quite different from what I do in the Netherland but I also really like it, you can be creative and especially photography I like the most.
Furthermore I have two subjects at La Facultad de Turismo (Faculty of Tourism). Here I have General and Regional Geography of Tourism which I find very interesting. All the subjects above are given in Spanish, so I am also developping my Spanish level. The only English subject I have is the other subject at this faculty; English Applied to Tourism.
